Rainfall Predicted Till July 4

Bhubaneswar: A low pressure area has developed over the Bay of Bengal in the North-west Bangladesh and the adjoining coast of West Bengal. As a result rainfall is expected for the coming four days till July 4.

It will advance towards West and North west direction towards the Gangetic West Bengal and northern Odisha. Heavy to very heavy rainfall is expected in several parts of Odisha, informed the MeT department.

An orange warning was issued for Mayurbhanj district for heavy to very heavy rainfall. Yellow warnings have been issued to Balasore and Bhadrak districts. For June 30, yellow warnings have been issued to 3 districts. The fishermen have been advised not to go into the sea as the sea is expected to be turbulent.
