Rainfall in Odisha till June 20

Bhubaneswar: The cyclonic circulation over Bay of Bengal is intensifying and thus rainfall is likely to continue for three more days in the state. The rain in Odisha at several parts will continue till June 20.

The cyclonic circulation has formed over the Northwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining areas at an altitude of 1.5 km to 5.8 km above the sea level.

Orange warning has been issued to 3 districts of Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar and Sundargarh. Yellow warning has been issued to as many as nine districts.

The IMD has forecast that rainfall is likely to lash out on June 18, 19 and 20. The weather is favorable for the southwest monsoon to advance.

The monsoon was stuck for 18 days but will become active in the next 24 hours forecast the IMD experts.
