Rain will continue in Odisha for next 3 day: MeT Office

Bhubaneswar: Rain will continue in the state of Odisha. The regional meteorological center has predicted rain for another three days. Yellow alert has been issued for 10 districts for heavy rain.

According to reports, these districts may experience lightning, thunder and wind speed of 30 to 40 km per hour. Yellow alert has been issued for six districts for heavy rain tomorrow.

The meteorological center has issued a warning of heavy rain for five districts for July 6 and two districts for July 7. The impact of rain in the state will decrease from the July 7 onwards.

Squally weather is likely to prevail with high wind speeds off the Odisha coasts. Sea condition very likely to be rough to very rough. Fishermen are advised not to venture into the sea along and off Odisha coast.

Continued drizzles of rain were seen in the capital city of Bhubaneswar and several other districts this morning. In the next 24 hours, heavy to very heavy rainfall can be expected in Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Sambalpur and Bargarh.

These districts have been issued an orange warning for heavy rainfall. Along with rain, lightning and thunderstorm will be expected. The wind speed is likely to remain at 30 to 40 kmph. There are two more such circulations that has been predicted in the next few days.
