Rain for another 5 days, orange warning issued

Bhubaneswar: Odisha to get rain for another 5 days due to Nor’wester. The Meteorological Department has predicted rain with thunderstorms and hailstorms in most parts of the state for the next 5 days.
An orange warning has been issued for 9 districts today for heavy rainfall with thunderstorms. Except for some districts of western Odisha, scattered rainfall will occur in the state on the 20th of April. For this, the Meteorological Department has issued an orange warning along with a yellow warning for various districts. While an orange alert is in place especially for north and south Odisha, a yellow warning is in place for coastal Odisha.
On 21st April, there is a possibility of rainfall in four districts of north Odisha, Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Balasore and Bhadrak, while there will be an impact of rainfall in south Odisha. For this, a yellow alert has been issued for all these districts for April 21.
Similarly, on the 22nd April, a yellow alert has been issued in some districts of South Odisha, including Ganjam, Gajapati, Rayagada, Koraput, Malkangiri and Nabarangpur, while on the 23rd April, the intensity of rainfall will be limited to 3 districts, Rayagada, Koraput and Malkangiri.
On the other hand, there has been a rise in temperature in Western Odisha in the last 24 hours. Temperatures are above 40 degrees in many districts.
