Rain and Cold Wave Alert for Bhubaneswar-Cuttack

Bhubaneswar/Cuttack: The twin cities of Bhubaneswar and Cuttack experienced a sudden change in weather on Tuesday morning, with rainfall and overcast skies disrupting normal life.

The unexpected downpour affected traffic in several areas, causing inconvenience to commuters. The sudden change left residents concerned about further weather disruptions.

According to the Regional Meteorological Center in Bhubaneswar, the rainfall is expected to be followed by a significant drop in temperature. Night temperatures are predicted to decrease by 2 to 5 degrees Celsius over the next three days, while day temperatures might increase by 2 to 4 degrees Celsius.

The cold wave is likely to be more intense in districts such as Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Bargarh, Nuapada, Balangir, Sambalpur, Sonepur, Deogarh, and Keonjhar. Residents in these regions are advised to prepare for harsher winter conditions in the coming days.
