Rahul taken into custody during march to Rashtrapati Bhawan

New Delhi, Aug 5(Reporters Today Bureau): Police on Friday took former Congress president Rahul Gandhi into custody while leading a march to Rashtrapati Bhawan to present a memorandum on various issues, including on issues like price rise and GST.

The delegation was obstructed at Vijay Chowk as it tried to defy prohibitory order clamped in the area.

The Congress leader was leading party’s leaders and workers wearing black dresses as a mark of protest.

Notably, the Congress has been protesting ever since the Enforcement Directorate raided the National Herald office in which the Young Indians office is located.

The ED is probing alleged money laundering accuses against Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi and have already quizzed them for several hours.
