Puri Police Issues Traffic Advisory for Magha Saptami

Konark: In preparation for the large influx of devotees at Chandrabhaga beach in Konark for the Magha Saptami festival on February 4, the Puri Police have issued a traffic advisory to ensure smooth vehicular movement and public convenience.
As per the advisory, buses arriving from Puri will be parked near Ramachandi Police Station, while those coming from Kakatpur and Nimapada will be directed to the Konark Helipad ground.
For four-wheelers, vehicles arriving from Puri will park near Ramachandi PS, while those from Kakatpur and Nimapada will initially park at the Konark Helipad ground. Once the parking capacity is full, additional parking will be available at the IOCL Parking and ASI Museum areas in Konark.
Two-wheelers from Puri will be parked on the left side of the road near the Light House, while two-wheelers from Kakatpur and Nimapada will use the Konark Helipad ground, with overflow parking at the IOCL and ASI Museum sites.
To manage the traffic flow efficiently, vehicle regulations will be in effect from 12:00 PM on February 3 until 8:00 AM on February 4. Additionally, a contingency route has been identified for vehicles traveling between Puri and Kakatpur/Nimapada, via Junei Bazaar Chhaka, Tikina Chhaka, Nalkana, Sutan, and Balikapileswar.
The police urge all travelers and devotees to cooperate with the traffic management efforts for a hassle-free experience during the festival.
