Puri: Naveen Launches 7 Projects Worth Rs 522 Cr

Reporters Today, Puri: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today launched a total seven projects worth Rs 522cr in the holy city Puri with an objective to transform the religious town into a world-class city.

Those projects which had the foundation stone lying in the hands of the CM are, Redevelopment of Municipality Market Complex at Grand Road, Swargadwar Renovation, Shree Setu, Jagannath Ballav Pilgrim Centre, Multi-level  underground Car Parking, Vending Zone at Beach,  high tech Centralised Kitchen for Mid-Day Meal and Aahaar.

Notably, to be built under ABADHA scheme the Shree Setu will play a key role in traffic congestion by direct access-controlled entry to the Jagannath Ballav Pilgrim Center from NH-316. It is a project of Rs 181 Crore.

Similarly, another important one in the list the Rs 5 Crore Swargadwar Redevelopment Project to be executed with a fund allocation of Rs 5 Crore will avail pallbearers with world-class cremation facility.
