Puri: Gold  and cash looted from Mausi Maa Temple

Puri (Reporters Today Bureau): Some unidentified miscreants allegedly looted gold ornaments and Rs 30,000 from the Mausi Maa Temple in  Puri town, late at night on Wednesday.

As per the sources, the incident came to the forefront when the servitors found the lock of the temple’s gate and the donation box was broken.

The robbers have stolen gold and silver ornaments of the deity and Rs 30,000 from the donation box

A priest named Biswanath Mishra has lodged an FIR in the Kumbharapada police station. The police have started an investigation into the incident.
