Public bursted out on ambulance workers

Baripada,20/12/18: Six ambulance employees were beaten after a 108 ambulance hit a rickshaw at Chauliashola Chowck in Mayurbhanj district today early morning.They were injured  and admitted to a nearby hospital.

Incident occurs when two ambulance employees were returning to Baripada after dropping a patient at Udala, and crashed into a parked rickshaw. However no one was injured in the mishap.

People were present at the spot present at the spot and beat the ambulance staff black and blue. Following the incident, four other employees rushed to the spot in another ambulance and tried to rescue the beaten staffs. However the locals detained and attacked four ambulance workers.

Badasahi police officials immediately rushed to the spot and rescued ambulance workers. Villagers forcibly took our mobile phones and threatened to burn our ambulance said an official here.
