Prez Murmu, CM Mohan Greet People On Ratha Jatra

Puri: President Droupadi Murmu and Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi greeted people at the start of the sacred Rath Yatra. Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri is set to begin today and will span two days.

In an X post, the President extended best wishes to all the countrymen and prayed for everyone’s happiness, peace and prosperity. “On the occasion of the world-famous Rath Yatra of Lord Jagannath, I extend my heartfelt best wishes to all the countrymen. Today, countless Jagannath lovers from all over the country and the world are eagerly waiting to see the three forms of Bhagavat seated on the chariot. On the occasion of this great festival, I pray to Mahaprabhu Shri Jagannath for everyone’s happiness, peace and prosperity. Jai Jagannath!” the President said.

Through a video message, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi also greets the people of Odisha. He prayed to Lord Jagannath for the prosperity of the State. “Wishing you all the best for the Holy Rath Yatra. May our state reach the pinnacle of development in every field by gaining the immense mercy of the Lord and building a new prosperous Odisha with the cooperation of all”, Majhi said in the video in his X.
