Prez Kovind on 2-Day Odisha Visit

Bhubaneswar (Reporters Today Bureau): President Ram Nath Kovind is scheduled to visit Odisha today to attend a religious programme in pilgrim town Puri tomorrow. Kovind will be welcomed by Governor Professor Ganeshi Lal and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik after he lands at the Biju Patnaik International Airport in Bhubaneswar. He is scheduled move to Puri at around 2.55 pm in a chopper. After landing at 3.25 pm at Talabania helipad in Puri, he will head towards Raj Bhawan. After one-hour rest, he is scheduled to visit Shree Jagannath Temple for darshan of deities in the evening.

President is scheduled to enter into the temple at 5 pm through Singha Dwara. He is scheduled to stay inside the temple for around 45 minutes. At 5.45 pm, he will again move to the Raj Bhawan in Puri where he will spend a night. On February 20 i.e. tomorrow, President Kovind is scheduled to visit Shree Chaitanya Goudiya mutt at 10.30 am. After visiting the mutt for around 10 minutes, he will reach Saradhabali in front of Gundicha Temple to attend a programme organised by the mutt at 10.45 am.

At 11 am, he will inaugurate the 3rd annual celebration of 150th birth anniversary of Srimad Bhakti Sidhhant Saraswati Goswami Prabhupada, the founder of Goudiya Mission. The President is scheduled to be present at the programme for around one hour. At 12 noon, he will move to Talabania helipad to return to Bhubaneswar. At 12.55 pm, he is scheduled to make his way back to New Delhi from Bhubaneswar airport.
