Prafulla Majhi Joins BJD

Bhubaneswar (Reporters Today Bureau): Former MLA from Indian National Congress Prafulla Majhi, joined the Biju Janata Dal today.

The joining programme held at the residence of MP Subash Singh at State Capital. BJD organising secretary Pranab Prakash Das, Pratap Deo and Pritiranjan Ghadai and others welcomed Prafulla to the ruling party.

Prafulla said he was forced to quit INC as it is on the decline and offered no freedom to its members. He praised BJD president and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik and said his joining BJD would help him work better for the development of tribals in his region. Prafulla’s wife Tribeni and hundreds of his supporters also joined the BJD.
