Police Bust Major Sex Trafficking Racket in Jeypore

Jeypore: In a major crackdown, police in Odisha’s Koraput district busted an alleged sex trafficking racket operating from a lodge in Jeypore town.

Acting on a tip-off, authorities raided the lodge, leading to the rescue of two women and the arrest of three lodge employees. A customer who was reportedly present during the raid has also been detained.

Sources indicate that illicit activities had been taking place at the lodge, prompting law enforcement to conduct the raid. The suspects are currently being interrogated as part of an ongoing investigation, with authorities working to uncover the full extent of the racket and track down other individuals involved.
