PM Modi to Inaugurate Utkarsh Odisha Conclave Today

Bhubaneswar: The much awaited two-day Utkarsh Odisha: Make in Odisha Conclave will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi today.

Many delegates from foreign countries will come to Odisha. Discussions will take place in different sessions in the two-day conclave. The key focus will be in the investments opportunities coming to Odisha and the establishment of Skill opportunities.

Skill Development Minister Sampad Swain said that the Conclave will be a historic one.  It will serve as a platform for industry leaders, investors, and policymakers to converge and discuss the opportunities Odisha offers as a preferred investment destination.

Focus will be laid in making every district a front runner in skill development and entrepreneurial growth. He further said that a Skill revolution will take place in Odisha in the coming days. In each day of the Conclave 4 sessions will be conducted and 16 regional sessions will also be held.

In the last seven months, 159 organisations were given Rs 2,75,000crore investments through a single window. Over 7,500 investors and industry leaders have registered to participate in the Utkarsh Odisha Make in Odisha conclave.

The Utkarsh Odisha conclave 2025 will serve as a great opportunity for skill development in Odisha as diplomats from 16 countries will attend it. LN Mittal of Mittal group of Industries, Kumar Mangalam Birla of Birla group of industries, Anil Agrawal of Vedanta Group, Sajjan and Naveen Jindal of Jindal Group, Managing Director of Tata Steel TV Narendran and many other tycoons will attend the event.

Over 100 investors from Singapore, Malaysia, Australia, Vietnam, Italy, Belarus, UK and many other countries will also attend the coveted event. At the outset, Odisha is expecting around Rs 5 lakh crore of seed capital and investment from the big event.

On the other hand, to welcome Prime Minister and other delegates the security in Bhubaneswar has been tightened. From Airport to Janta Maidan, security has been heightened as per Blue book guidelines. 60 platoon police force will be deployed in Bhubaneswar. As many as 400 senior police officers are in charge of the security arrangements.
