PM Modi to Attend Odisha BJP Govt’s First Anniversary on June 20

Bhubaneswar: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to visit Odisha on June 20 to mark the first anniversary of the BJP-led government under Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi. The event, highlighting the achievements of the “double-engine” government, will be held at Janata Maidan in Bhubaneswar.

Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida announced that the Prime Minister will present a detailed report card of the BJP government’s performance over the past year in Odisha. “This visit also coincides with the BJP’s 11 years at the Centre. The 1+11 combination symbolizes unity and momentum, propelling the double-engine government in Odisha to move forward at the speed of 111,” she said.

According to the official itinerary, PM Modi will land at Biju Patnaik International Airport at 3:40 pm via a special Indian Air Force aircraft. He will then proceed in a grand roadshow to Janata Maidan, where the main public programme is scheduled to begin at 4:15 pm.

The Prime Minister will remain at the venue until 5:30 pm, after which he will leave for the airport and fly to Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, to attend another official engagement.

The high-profile visit underscores the BJP’s focus on strengthening its presence and governance in Odisha, with a strong emphasis on showcasing developmental milestones and future commitments.
