PM Modi to Attend DG-IGP Conference, BJP Meet in Odisha
Bhubaneswar: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to arrive in Bhubaneswar today for the Director General-Inspector General of Police (DG-IGP) conference, marking the first time the event is being held in Odisha. His visit will span three days, from November 29 to December 1.
PM Modi is scheduled to land at Bhubaneswar Airport at 4:20 PM, where he will address a public gathering near the airport. A grand welcome is planned along the route from the airport to Raj Bhavan, with the general public lining the streets.
At 6:30 PM, Modi will address a BJP meeting at the party’s state headquarters in the presence of ministers, MPs, MLAs, and party workers. Speculation surrounds the agenda, with many anticipating strategic insights or “Guru mantras” from the Prime Minister. The meeting will last two hours, followed by a traditional Odia vegetarian dinner at the party office before he returns to Raj Bhavan for the night.
On November 30, PM Modi will attend the DG-IGP conference at the Lok Seva Bhawan Convention Centre from 8:30 AM to 8:00 PM. The conference will continue on December 1 from 8:30 AM to 4:15 PM. After concluding the conference, PM Modi will depart for New Delhi at 4:30 PM, wrapping up his Odisha visit.
Security measures have been heightened across Bhubaneswar, with no-fly and no-drone zones enforced in key areas to ensure the safety of all dignitaries.
