PM launches project Gangajal in Agra

New Delhi, Jan 10: Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched Gangajal Project for the people of Agra, which is aimed at providing clean and safe drinking water for Agra.
Agra is a UNESCO declared heritage city situated on the banks of Yamuna.
The Gangajal programme has a project cost of Rs 2,880 crore and it will provide Agra with better and more assured water supply. He will also lay foundation stone for integrated command and control centre for Agra smart city and up gradation of SN Medical College.
