PM-Awas Yojana Survey Begins in Pipili

Pipili: In a bid to extend social security to the underprivileged, Minister Rabi Narayan Naik has announced that all eligible beneficiaries will receive houses under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY). Kicking off the survey process for the scheme, the minister assured that no eligible individual would be left out.
The survey, being conducted via the Awas+ mobile app, marks the first time aspiring families will participate in conducting their own assessments. The initiative has already commenced in Arjunsinghpur village, located in Odisha’s Puri district. Minister Naik, along with Member of Parliament Sambit Patra, visited the area to interact with residents and understand their challenges.
Speaking on the occasion, Minister Naik said, “On the sacred land of Lord Jagannath, we have launched the survey for the PM-Awas Yojana to ensure no eligible beneficiary is excluded.” He added that families owning two-wheelers, refrigerators, or landline phones, as well as those earning more than ₹15,000 per month, would not qualify for the scheme.
The PM-Awas Yojana is a credit-linked subsidy initiative by the Government of India designed to provide affordable housing for low- and middle-income families.
