Pipili Bypoll: Fresh Notification Issued

Bhubaneswar (Reporters Today Bureau): The Election Commission of India (ECI) issued a Gazette Notification holding by-polls in the Pipili Assembly constituency in Puri district of Odisha on Monday.

According to the notification, the last day for filing the nomination is April 26. Scrutiny of nomination will be held on April 27 and the last date for withdrawal is April 29.

The polling will be held on May 13.

Earlier the Pipili election was scheduled to hold on April 17 but was postponed due to the demise of Congress candidate Ajit Mangaraj, who was tested positive to Covid 19.
