Petrol scarcity likely to be over by tomorrow

Bhubaneswar: While scarcity of petrol has been witnessed due to the drivers’ strike in Odisha, today after an important meeting, Utkal Petrol Dealers Association General Secretary Sanjay Lath said that the problem of petrol scarcity will be over by tomorrow.

As per reports, the said important meeting over petrol scarcity in the State with the minister was over a little ago. Following the meeting, Lath said that Petrol stock has run out at a few petrol pumps. But no crisis got created

It was an important meeting over petrol, diesel supply in Odisha that is presently come up as a problem. The meeting was between the Petroleum Dealers Association and the Odisha Minister of Supplies. The meeting took place in Lok Seva Bhavan. The meeting was attended by Petroleum Association General Secretary Sanjay Lath and senior officials of the Supplies Department.

Sanjay Lath said that supply has been disrupted at various petrol pumps in the state. However, the amount of petrol is there no scarcity will be there. There is enough oil available for two days. So, People should not panic.

He also informed that Oil tankers’ movement is going on. Oil tankers are going from 4 depots. Oil vehicles are being stopped at some places. Vehicles have been broken at some places. However, the petrol Tankers are being brought in with the help of police. So, the problem of petrol scarcity will be over by tomorrow.
