Pantograph of Intercity Express fails in Leliguma of Rayagada

Rayagada: The pantograph responsible for connecting the trains to the electric lines failed in Rayagada district. As a result, Intercity Express and Hirakhand Express were halted in Leliguma since this morning.

The Intercity express started from Rourkela and was going to Jagdalpur. As it reached near Leliguma of Kashipur block in Rayagada district the pantograph failed which resulted in the stopping of the train.

The train services in Koraput-Rayagada (KR) route were halted due to the failure of Pantograph. The Intercity Express was enroute from Rourkela to Jagdalpur while the Hirakhand Express was going from Bhubaneswar to Jagdalpur.
