‘Pakistan Cyber Force’ Hacks Odisha Adarsha Vidyalaya Sangathan Website

Bhubaneswar: In the wake of escalating tensions between India and Pakistan following the Pahalgam terror attack and India’s retaliatory Operation Sindoor, the official website of the Odisha Adarsha Vidyalaya Sangathan (OAVS) has been hacked, allegedly by a group calling itself the ‘Pakistan Cyber Force’.

Visitors to the site since Wednesday have been greeted with a defaced homepage bearing the message: “This website has been hacked by the Pakistan Cyber Force.” The website has been rendered non-functional, with all content inaccessible and the interface blacked out.

So far, no official statement has been released by OAVS authorities regarding the breach. The motive behind the cyber attack remains unclear, and it is yet to be determined why an educational institution like OAVS was specifically targeted.

Cybersecurity experts have expressed concern over this incident, calling it a warning sign of the increasing vulnerability of Indian digital infrastructure to foreign-based cyber threats. The breach comes at a time when tensions are already high after India’s precision strikes on terror camps across the border in response to the April 22 Pahalgam attack, which claimed 26 lives.

As digital warfare continues to emerge as a modern frontline in geopolitical conflicts, authorities are likely to investigate the breach and step up cybersecurity measures across government platforms.
