Over Cremation Of COVID Patient’s Body, Tension In Odisha Village

Baripada (Reporters Today Bureau):  Karanjia Notified Area Council (NAC) in Mayurbhanj district over the cremation of a COVID patient’s body at the local cemetery.

As per reports, a person resident in the area was detected Covid 19 positive after which he was admitted at the Tato COVID Care Centre and unfortunately succumbed to Covid yesterday.

Afterward, the Covid Patient deceased body was taken to the local graveyard for cremation but the people who live in the nearby area protest against it and demanded that the body should be cremated in some other place.

The Police reached the spot, trying to calm down and convince the crowd.
