OSSC Cancels April 27 Exam, Reschedules for July 6

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) has cancelled the written examination for the Combined Recruitment Examination held on April 27, following the discovery of significant errors in the question paper.
Candidates raised concerns after key sections of the prescribed syllabus—such as English, Odia Literature, and General Knowledge—were found missing from the question paper. The issue sparked widespread dissatisfaction among aspirants, prompting the commission to review the matter.
In response to the feedback received from a large number of candidates, the OSSC officially cancelled the exam and issued an apology for the oversight. The commission assured candidates that corrective measures would be taken to ensure transparency and fairness in the recruitment process.
A fresh written examination has been scheduled for July 6, and the OSSC has issued an official notification confirming the revised date.
