Orange Warning Issued For 10 Districts In Odisha: Know More
Bhubaneswar (Reporters Today Bureau): The Regional Meteorological Centre forecasted on Monday that several districts of Odisha are likely to experience thundersquall with wind speed reaching 50 – 60 kmph.
“Thundersquall with wind speed reaching 50-60 kmph very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Angul, Dhenkanal, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack and Jagatsinghpur,” the Meteorological Centre said.
An orange warning has been issued as minor damage to loose or unsecured structures and some damaged to trees and standing crops might occur.
“Thunderstorm with lightning and gusty surface wind speed reaching 30-40 kmph very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Puri, Khurda, Nayagarh, Ganjam, Gajapati, Kalahandi, Kandhamal and Boudh,” the Meteorological Centre predicted and issued Yellow Warning for the districts.
