OMC Contributes Rs 500 Cr To CM’s Relief Fund

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Mining Corporation (OMC) has contributed Rs 500 crore to Odisha Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF) to augment the State government’s efforts for containment of COVID-19 from spreading. Today OMC had issued a press release.

This apart, the State-run public sector unit (PSU) has declared Rs 250 crore as interim dividend for the Year 2019-20, the release added. Earlier, in February this year OMC had contributed Rs 100 crores to CMRF in February 2020, the release said.

The release further said that COVID-19 has created an extraordinary situation across the world and the State government has taken pro-active measures to contain the spread of the virus.
