Odisha’s Subhadra Yojana to Benefit Women Three Times in 2025
Bhubaneswar: Women beneficiaries of Odisha’s Subhadra Yojana are set to receive financial assistance three times in 2025, marking a significant boost for the scheme. Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida announced on Monday that the upcoming year could be described as the “Year of Subhadra Yojana.”
Under the scheme, beneficiaries will receive funds in three phases – once during the fourth phase of the first installment (for those who have not yet received it), a second time on March 8 to commemorate International Women’s Day, and a third disbursement during Raksha Bandhan in August.
Additionally, a comprehensive survey to include pending applicants, whose forms have not been processed, will be completed by the first week of January. The field report is expected today, and further steps will be taken based on the findings. Parida assured that all eligible women will be included, ensuring no one is left out of the scheme’s benefits.
“We are committed to ensuring that every deserving woman is included in the Subhadra Yojana. May Goddess Subhadra bless women and mothers in the New Year,” said Parida.
