Odisha:Ganja Seized Worth 25 Lakh In Koraput, One Arrested

Koraput (Reporters Today Bureau): A ganja peddler arrested during transporting of ganja by Machkund Police near the Jalaput area on Saturday.

The accused was identified as Debashis Acharya, a resident of Jalaput village in the Koraput district.

As per reports, a team of Machkund police intercepted the vehicle while Debashis was illegally transporting ganja in a pick-up van from bordering areas of Andhra-Pradesh. Police seized worth 25 lakh of ganja from his possession.

Police also seized the pick-up van and arrested the driver.
