Odisha: Woman Critical After Knife Attack by Husband

Ganjam: A woman is in critical condition after being attacked by her husband with a knife in Dhaugan village under the Dharakote Police Station limits.

The incident occurred on Wednesday night and has left the victim, identified as 32-year-old Little Panigrahi, with severe injuries.

As per police reports, the attack stemmed from a domestic dispute. The accused husband allegedly assaulted his wife with a knife at their home, inflicting multiple wounds across her body.

After being alerted, police promptly intervened, detaining the suspect for further investigation.

Panigrahi was rushed to the hospital in Aska, where she remains in critical condition, fighting for her life. Authorities have begun a thorough investigation to understand the circumstances leading up to the assault.
