Odisha Unveils Subhadra Yojana for Women

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government announced three key initiatives under the Subhadra Yojana on Wednesday, aimed at empowering women in the state. The initiatives were unveiled during the ‘Subhadra ru Mudra’ program at the Utkarsh Odisha Conclave by Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida.

The three initiatives, named ‘Suna Subhadra,’ ‘Kuha Subhadra,’ and ‘Subhadra Setu,’ aim to enhance citizen engagement and welfare for women. ‘Suna Subhadra’ is designed to empower citizens to directly interact with government departments for necessary clarifications. In tandem, ‘Kuha Subhadra’ facilitates open communication, allowing the department to reach out to beneficiaries to address concerns regarding services.

Additionally, ‘Subhadra Setu’ will serve as a bridge for young women, connecting them with support services as they reach the age of 21. These initiatives reflect the Odisha government’s commitment to strengthening the role of women in the state.
