ODISHA: UNLOCK Begins From Aug 1

Bhubaneswar (Reporters Today Bureau): Odisha government today announced the beginning of the unlocking process in the state in a view of the decline in COVID-19 cases, Informed Special Relief Commissioner (SRC) Pradeep Jena.
As a part of relaxation Malls, restaurants, bars, and cinema halls will reopen across the state.
“Malls, restaurant, bars and cinema halls will reopen with 50 per cent capacity in adherence to COVID-19 protocols. However, in Bhubaneswar, Cuttack and Puri, only fully vaccinated people will be allowed inside these places,” informed the SRC.
On the other hand, night curfew will continue in all 30 districts between 8 pm and 6 am.
The decision for reopening religious institutions will be taken by respective district administrations.
However, the weekend shutdown will continue in Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, and Puri as before.
