Odisha to Witness Thunderstorm Today

Bhubaneswar: The Regional Meteorological Centre here has issued thunderstorm warning for several districts of Odisha for today.

“Thunderstorm with lightning and gusty surface wind speed reaching 30-40 kmph very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Baleswar, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapada, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Khordha, Nayagarh, Ganjam, Gajapati, Mayurbhanj and Kendujhar,” the Meteorological Centre forecasted and issued Yellow Warning for these districts.

“Light to moderate rain or thundershower very likely to occur at a few places over the districts of Baleswar, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapada, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Khordha, Nayagarh, Ganjam, Gajapati, Mayurbhanj, Kendujhar and at one or two places over the districts of Malkangiri, Koraput, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Rayagada, Boudh, Angul, Dhenkanal, Kendujhar, Nabarangpur, Mayurbhanj, Nuapada and Balangir,” the Meteorological Centre added.
