Odisha to Witness Heavy Rainfall Soon

Bhubaneswar (Reporters Today Bureau): Under the influence of the cyclonic circulation over northwest Bay of Bengal and neighbourhood, a Low Pressure Area has formed over the same region, today. The system is likely to trigger heavy rainfall in several districts of Odisha.
It is likely to move west-northwestwards along the monsoon trough during the next 2-3 days, the India Meteorological Department said.
Heavy to very heavy rainfall very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Kendrapara, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Khordha, Cuttack, Sambalpur, Deogarh and heavy rainfall very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Baleswar, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Dhenkanal, Angul, Kendujhar, Koraput, Malkangiri, Sundargarh today, the Regional Meteorological Centre forecasted.
