Odisha to witness drop in night temperature
Bhubaneswar: A cold wave is forecasted to revisit Odisha in the New Year with the night temperatures set to drop. According to Bhubaneswar Meteorological Centre, night temperatures will drop 3-5 degrees Celsius.
Currently, the night temperatures are prevailing above normal now and may gradually decrease over the next three days. No appreciable changes in daytime temperatures are predicted.
The weather will continue to be dry for the next seven days. Dense fog is likely to continue in one or two places in the districts of Bargarh, Balangir, Nuapada, Kendujhar, Mayurbhanj, and Sambalpur. A yellow warning has been issued for dense fog that may reduce visibility to less than 200 meters in the districts of Sundargarh, Kalahandi, and Kandhamal.
