Odisha to See Temperature Drop, Cyclone Alert
Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted a drop in Odisha’s minimum temperatures over the next 48 hours. According to the latest forecast, night temperatures are likely to fall by 2 to 4 degrees Celsius in the coming two days before rising by 2 to 3 degrees in the subsequent three days.
Meanwhile, the IMD has reported a cyclonic circulation over the Equatorial Indian Ocean and southeast Bay of Bengal at lower tropospheric levels. This system is expected to develop into a low-pressure area over the central parts of the south Bay of Bengal by December 7.
The IMD is closely monitoring the situation for any further developments.
