Odisha To Lash Rainfall Till August 3

 

Odisha is currently facing heavy rainfall due to an intensified depression over the Bay of Bengal. The depression, centered over the Bay of Bengal, is causing continuous rainfall in the region.As per the meteorological department’s forecast, heavy rainfall is expected in 23 districts today and tomorrow, covering coastal and northern areas of the state.

An orange warning has been issued for 13 districts, indicating the possibility of heavy to very heavy rainfall tomorrow.

Additionally, 11 districts have been issued a yellow warning. Certain areas may witness heavy rainfall ranging from 7 cm to 20 cm.

However, it is expected that the monsoon in Odisha will gradually start declining from August 3
