Odisha to Introduce Electric Buses by this March

Bhubaneswar (Pramit Pramathes): The state govt plans to introduce electric buses in the state by March this year, said a government official today. Near about 50 electric buses to be run in the first phases, he added.

The electric buses will run under “Mo Bus” scheme in the Smart City Bhubaneswar along with Silver City Cuttack and Shree Khetra Puri. Meanwhile, a two-day training programme was started here today to train the employees of OSRTC and CRUT over the safety the passengers.

Housing and Urban Development Minister Pratap Jena, CRUT Managing Director Arun Bothra and other senior officials were present in the programme.
