Odisha to Disburse Fourth Subhadra Yojana Installment on Dec 25
Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government will disburse the fourth phase of the first installment under the Subhadra Yojana on December 25, according to a statement from the Women and Child Development (W&CD) Department.
The scheme aims to benefit around 15 lakh women in this phase, bringing the total number of recipients closer to the 1.05 crore women who registered by December 1. So far, the state has disbursed the first installment of ₹5,000 to approximately 80 lakh eligible women across three phases.
The final phase of the first installment is scheduled for March 7, 2024, as previously announced by the state government. This initiative, part of the BJP-led government’s welfare agenda, seeks to provide financial support to women across Odisha.
