Odisha: Student Meets Watery Grave In Keonjhar

Keonjhar (Reporters Today Bureau): In an incident, an engineering student meets a watery grave in the Keonjhar district of Odisha on Monday.

The deceased has been identified as Saswat Mohapatra, an en engineering student of 2nd-year student of the Mechanical Department at the Govt. Engineering College.

According to the sources, along with two friends Saswat had gone to take bathe to a pond near the Jamunalia area under the Town PS limit. As his friends were sitting on edge of the pond, he went into the water and drowned.

Earlier some students have complained about the scarcity of water in the hostel in the College. However, the College authorities have refuted the allegation.
