Bhubaneswar (Reporters Today Bureau): The Driving License (DL) Skill Test will be continued in the regions of ‘B’ category districts, informed by the State Transport Authority (STA) on Friday.

As per the notification issued by (STA) the Driving Licence (DL) Skill Test will resume in the Category-B districts like Balasore, Bhadrak, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Jajpur, Khurda, Kendrapada, Mayurbhanj, Nayagarh, and Puri can slot booking from 11 AM on July 10, 2021.

However, the facility will not be available for people from Puri from tomorrow in a view of Ratha Yatra. Puri district can book a driving license skill test slot from 11 AM on July 13, 2021. Stated the State Transport Authority (STA)

Timing for the Test slots bookings will be opened from 7 AM to 10 PM every day from July 11. Only existing DL applicants can book slots for the DL skill test.

Also, DL renewal with retest will be allowed.

The applicants from the containment zone will not be permitted for any test.

In the ‘B’ category, The VAHAN services, DL services, and fitness test will resume from July 13, 2021.

In the other 20 ‘A’ category districts, DL skill test slot bookings were resumed from June 22, 2021, and July 6, 2021.

Noteworthy, the Learner’s Licence expiring from March 18, 2020, to September 30, 2021, will remain valid till September 30, 2021. The fees will be valid who had already paid for the DL test and LL test.
