Odisha: Security Agency Staff  Looted Rs 34 Lakh From ATMs, Arrested

Rourkela (Reporters Today Bureau): A person has been arrested on charges of looting cash amounting to Rs 34 lakh by the Rourkela police of Sundargarh district today.

The accused works with a private security agency Rights Private Limited.

The accused with the help of his colleague refill ATMs with cash. By some means, the accused managed to get the ATMs pin and later looted 34 lakh.

In connection with the incident, cases have been registered at Sector-19, Sector-7, Chhend, and another police station in the railway station area here.

Further investigation is underway to nab other persons involved in the incident, said police.
