Odisha: Schooling At Doorsteps Soon For Students Deprived Of Online Education

Bhubaneswar (Reporters Today Bureau): The School & Mass Education Department has decided to assign teaching students for the primary school students deprived of online classes in remote areas of Odisha to provide education at their doorsteps.

“The students pursuing their career in the elementary education training course will reach out to primary school students, who do not have facility for online education in far-flung areas, and teach them near houses as part of their internship,” informed School & Mass Education Minister Samir Ranjan Dash today.

The trainee teachers will visit house-to-house to teach students as a part of their internship programme. As per the decision, One teacher will be engaged to teach a maximum of 10 students in a village for the doorsteps schooling

The Department has planned to select 10,000 teaching students for this purpose

“The teaching students will visit 10,000 villages that lack internet connectivity to take classes of the state-run school students near their houses by following COVID-19-appropriate behavior,” Dash said.

We are also delivering education to students through various digital platforms including MadhuApp, Youtube, and Radio added Samir Ranjan Dash.
