Odisha on Hot Pot; Balangir Hottest

Bhubaneswar (Pramit Pramathes): Near about five places in the state today recorded maximum day temperature 40 degrees Celsius. Balangir was the hottest at 41.5 degrees, said the IMD, Bhubaneswar.
Balangir was followed by Boudh and Titlagarh at 40.8 degrees 40.5 degrees, respectively. Malkangiri recorded 40.2 degrees whereas Talcher was at 40.1 degrees Celsius.
Also, the Regional Meteorological Centre forecast interior districts of the State will record an increase of 2-3 degrees above normal temperature in next two days. A few places in interior districts will record 40 degree or more, it added.
