Odisha: Man Killed in Family Dispute; Uncle, Cousin Accused

Berhampur: A man was killed in a violent family dispute involving his uncle and cousin in Badasahi, Rohigaon, under the Sadar police station limits in Ganjam district on Wednesday.

The victim, identified as Madhusudan Jena, was reportedly attacked by his uncle Prasanna Jena and cousin Siba alias Sipu Jena following a heated argument over longstanding family issues. The altercation escalated when Madhusudan was alone at home, resulting in a fatal attack.

Madhusudan succumbed to his injuries, while Prasanna Jena was also injured and admitted to MKCG Medical College and Hospital in Berhampur. Siba Jena fled the scene and remains at large.

Police have launched an investigation and are conducting a search for the absconding accused.
