Odisha: Man Found Hanging from Raja Swing

Cuttack: In a disturbing incident, the man was discovered hanging from a Raja swing at the Banki NAC in Odisha’s Cuttack district. The incident took place during the Raja celebration being held at the Goddess Bramhei temple in the Banki area.

The deceased individual has been identified as Anil Behera, a resident of Sahapada village.

As per reports, Anil had gone to partake in the festival celebration near the Goddess Bramhei temple on the eve of Raja Sankranti. However, he was later found hanging from the swing. The family of the deceased suspects that Anil was murdered.

According to the deceased’s brother, Anil had engaged in a heated argument with some visitors at the temple. They suspect that these individuals might have been responsible for Anil’s alleged murder and subsequent hanging from the swing.

Upon receiving the information, the police promptly arrived at the scene, recovered the body, and sent it for post-mortem examination. They have also initiated an investigation into the matter.
