Odisha likely to receive heavy to very heavy rainfall from July 21 : IMD
Odisha is likely to receive heavy rainfall from July 21 due to formation of a low pressure area created in a low pressure likely to be formed over north Bay of Bengal and neighbourhood , IMD sources said.
“Heavy to very heavy rainfall is likely to occur in coastal and north Odisha from the night of July 21. As a result, water level of several rivers in districts like Balasore, Bhadrak, Mayurbhanj, Kendrapara, Jajpur and Keonjhar will go up, the latest bulletin issued by the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.
Meanwhile, the IMD regional centre here has forecast heavy rainfall in several districts of north interior Odisha, including Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara and Cuttack in next 24 hours.
