Odisha: Inter-State Wildlife Smuggling Racket Busted; Tiger Skins Seized, 4 Arrested

Kalahandi (Reporters Today Bureau): The wildlife crime control bureau (WCCB) team busted an inter-state wildlife trafficking racket and seized tiger skin from a southern forest division of the Sagada area in Kalahandi district on Saturday. Four-person arrested in this connection.
Acting on a tip-off, wildlife crime team. Rampur Forest Range Officer Asit Das and officials of Chhattisgarh Forest Department jointly conducted the raid in Kalahandi district on Friday and seized three tiger skins and a tiger tooth from their possession and detained them.
The four accused were identified as Manoj Behera of M. Rampur, Narottam Bhoi of Narla, Rangacharan Bhoi of Bafla, and Kartik Rana of Amath.
They will be forwarded to a local court today, said police source
