Odisha Govt Reshuffles IAS Officers, Announces New Appointments

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government today announced a reshuffle in the IAS cadre, assigning new roles to several officers, according to a notification from the General Administration & Public Grievance Department.

Temjenwapang Ao, Commissioner-cum-Secretary of the Public Enterprises Department, has been appointed as Special Secretary to the Planning & Convergence Department.

N.B.S. Rajput, Principal Secretary to the Governor, will continue to hold the additional charge of Principal Secretary to the Public Enterprises Department.

Bhupendra Singh Poonia, currently Managing Director of IPICOL and holding additional charges as Special Secretary to the Industries Department and Managing Director of IDCO, will now also serve as Commissioner-cum-Secretary to the Skill Development & Technical Education Department. Upon his appointment, N.B.S. Rajput’s additional charge of this department will conclude.

Prem Chandra Chaudhary, Director of Agriculture & Food Production and Managing Director of Odisha Agro Industries Corporation Limited, has been appointed as Director of Textiles & Handlooms, Odisha.

Arindam Dakua, Private Secretary to the Chief Minister, has been appointed as Director of Municipal Administration and Ex-officio Additional Secretary to the Housing & Urban Development Department.

The reshuffle aims to enhance administrative efficiency across key departments.
