Odisha govt makes a minor reshuffle in IAS cadre

Odisha government on Thursday effected a minor reshuffle in the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) cadre, changing the positions of three senior officials.

CJ Venugopal, who is currently serving as the Principal Secretary to the Governor, has been appointed as the Principal Secretary to Electronic and Information Technology (E&IT) department of the state governrment. Similarly, Madhu Sudan Padhi, a 1991 batch IAS officer, currently posted as the transport commissioner, Odisha, has been appointed as the Principal Secretary to the Governor. Saswata Mishra, posted as the commissioner, commercial taxes, Odisha, has been given additional charge of transport commissioner.
